Expert Witness
I have now presented evidence, on over one hundred and forty occasions, to the High Courts and Sheriff Courts in Scotland and the Crown Courts in England. I have also presented evidence to the House of Lords, Select Committee on Science and Technology, Sub-Committee I - Cannabis.
I hold a Master of Science degree in Social Anthropology from the University of Edinburgh. I am a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, a Fellow of the Royal Anthropological Institute and a member of the International Cannabinoid Research Society. I am the Consultant Anthropologist to the UK Medicinal Cannabis Project.
I specialise in the assessment of cultivation set-ups, including the valuation of useable cannabis at time of seizure and useable cannabis from a potential yield. I also assess many cases where the supply of cannabis resin is being alleged and disputed and those cases that invove 'medical necessity'. |
