There are a whole host of websites of general medieval interest on the Internet, encompassing art, architecture, history, literature, music, and everyday life. There are pages on medieval law, online texts both in the original and in translation, and even information on food and drink in the Middle Ages: you name it, you can probably find it. There are also many pages of specific interest to the Hispanist, and so the following list (which only scrtaches the surface of what is available) is divided into subsections to try and help you find what you're looking for. Since some websites deal with more than one aspect of medieval life and culture, they may appear under more than one heading. Most sites contain links to other pages of related interest, but the links section below refers you to those ones with the most extensive lists (and some are VERY extensive). The list is clearly primarily centered around sites of interest to te medieval Hispanist, but also contains links of a more general medieval nature. In due course, I hope to offer lists that are more subjects-specific than at present, but in the meantime I hope you will bear with me and take advantage of the excellent facilities offered by colleagues elsewhere, as listed below.

I hope you will find this of use in your medieval studies. If you have suggestions for improvements, features you would like to see included, or information on new links, please
